Letters From Away is written by a Maine native Keith Michaud, who is now "from away" and living in California. It is about things happening in Maine and to Mainers. And he will throw in a story once in a while.

Coffeehouse observation No. 265
I might be hanging out at the coffeehouse a bit too much. A guy just came up to me and asked: “Do you work here? You look like you work here.” … Yeeeah, I might be at the library a bit more from now on.
